Our mission
Plug & Charge will define the next era of EV charging. But deploying it today requires stitching together certificate authorities, contract databases, billing systems, and ecosystem providers. We started Voltier because we believe that complexity should be someone else's problem — not every charging network's problem.
Our platform gives charging networks, utilities, and mobility providers a single integration point for everything Plug & Charge requires. We handle the infrastructure. They build great charging experiences.
Why we built Voltier
When we first tried to deploy Plug & Charge, we discovered that the infrastructure simply didn't exist as a developer-friendly product. Every charging network had to build the same certificate management, the same contract provisioning, the same billing logic from scratch. It was like every e-commerce company having to build their own payment processor before Stripe existed.
We founded Voltier to solve this. Our team of engineers and EV infrastructure specialists has built the platform we wished existed: a single API for the entire Plug & Charge stack.
Today, we work with partners across the UK and Europe, backed by Innovate UK and Catapult. Our mission is simple: make Plug & Charge as easy to deploy as accepting a credit card online.
